We hope you have loved our vegetarian week and will add some more Meatless Mondays into the mix. Plant-based food is SO GOOD for you! Look for ways to make meat a condiment and really, to get more fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, and plant-based fats into your diet. We have plenty of vegetarian sides here at OhSo, but we really wanted to highlight all of the actual meals you can make without meat. Some are vegan!
Carly is a vegetarian but her husband is not. Sometimes she'll make a dish, then her husband will grill a chicken breast for himself to add on to the meal. Start this with your family! Slowly introduce more plant-based meals. It's a process and the unknown can often induce strong feelings of disdain (trust me, been there!), but you have to start somewhere. Pick a couple meal ideas to start with, and refer back to this post when you want to add another. There is something for everyone here!
