If you want a little healthier approach try out this delicious cauliflower pizza crust recipe! A great alternative that will nix the carbs! Perfect for a keto or gluten free diet!
What Is Cauliflower Pizza Crust?
Rather than making a pizza crust with flour, water, and yeast - we are making this crust with riced cauliflower and cheese and egg as a binder. We are eliminated the gluten and the carbs in the pizza crust.
What Do I Need To Make This Cauliflower Pizza Crust?
For this recipe you'll need:
- 1 head of cauliflower
- ½ cup of grated mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
How Do You Make Cauliflower Pizza Crust From Scratch?
- Begin by cutting your cauliflower into florets.
- Transfer to a blender.
- Pulse until cauliflower resembles rice.
- Transfer to a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 4 minutes. Let cool.
- Pour cooked cauliflower rice into a clean tea towel.
- Ring out as much water as you can.
- Add cauliflower, cheese, egg, and seasoning to a mixing bowl.
- Mix until well combined with a wooden spoon.
- Cover a pizza pan with parchment paper, add cauliflower mixture on top.
- Press into desired shape, flattening to about ¼ inch thick.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Top as desired and return to oven for 3-5 minutes until toppings are melty.

Classic
For these pics, I've done a classic pepperoni pizza with marinara, mozzarella, pepperoni, and goat cheese. Some other ideas are:
Proscuitto & Arugula
- Top your pizza with Alfredo sauce
- Add cooker bacon and onion
- Bake until bubbly
- Add fresh arugula on top with fresh parmesan.
Greek Pesto
- Spread pizza crust with pesto.
- Top with mozzarella, red onion, feta cheese, tomatoes, and pine nuts.
- Bake until bubbly.
Roasted Veggie & Ricotta
- Spread pizza crust with ricotta
- Add desired roasted veggies (bell pepper, onion, broccoli, etc.)
- Add tomatoes, crushed garlic, red pepper flakes, fresh mozzarella, and freshly-cracked black pepper.
- Bake until bubbly.

Per serving, cauliflower crust is lower in everything-calories, carbs, protein, fat, fiber and sodium-with the biggest difference being calories, carbs and protein.
