When it comes to giving gift to your neighbors, I always like to take something homemade and edible. This gives the gift a personal touch, and is also affordable. Today I am sharing a few of my favorite Christmas gift ideas for neighbors that have been well loved in the past.
Salted Caramel Sauce
I love a gift in a jar. They are easy to store and feel substantial and special. This salted caramel sauce is simple to make and so versatile. It can be served with sliced apples, on top of ice cream, in hot drinks, or on top of a variety of other dessert. I'm also not opposed to eating it by the spoonful.
Homemade Fudge
This is a classic Christmas treat! The recipe was passed down to me from my grandpa who adapted the recipe from one he found in a magazine long ago. Make a big batch and cut into squares, then package them up for a delicious treat!
Homemade Pickles
Have you ever heard of the Christmas Pickle? This is the perfect play off of that tradition. These refrigerator pickles are so easy to make and will definitely be a unique and fun gift for your neighbors.
Homemade Holiday Potpourri
This homemade holiday sent can be used in a simmer pot. The potpourri is simple to put together and smells like heaven! It will be enjoyed by all!

This hot drink mix is delicious! Make them up in mason jars with a tag giving instructions to stir a few tablespoons into hot water. This will be a welcomed gift that is unique, warm, and cozy.

This is my personal favorite. I feel that savory treat is welcomed amongst the sweets. The recipe is simple and easy. I gift the salsa in a mason jar along with a bag of chips. I get so many compliments when I give this to my neighbors.

This dip is so dang good! It can be used as a salad dressing, a chip dip, or a taco topping. It keeps in the fridge for about a week and is loved by all who partake!
