Enter the Mother's Day Giveaway to win this Coco and Kiwi Diaper Bag (and several other amazing items) by clicking HERE When I was a kid we would only go out to dinner when report cards came out. We lived in Kansas City and would always go to a restaurant called Black Eyed Pea. We would order the kids meal with steam spinach, mashed potatoes + gravy and a Shirley Temple for a drink. WE LOVED this dinner. The waiter every.single.time. would gape at us kids ordering steamed spinach! What . . .
Strawberry Basil Lemonade. Does that sound a little unusual to you? It's kind of different. When you first drink a sip of the lemonade you're hit with a sweet strawberry sensation, then comes the bubbles (if you used sparkling water) and then the basil, followed with minty, refreshing aftertaste in your mouth! I recently served this at a dinner party and everyone asked for the recipes. They LOVED it. One woman said "You know how lemonade is so sweet it doesn't really quench your thirst or leave . . .

We really like green smoothies in our home. I really love green smoothies in our home. We fill them full of leafy greens, fresh fruit, milk for creaminess and my kids go nuts for them. I've served them to friends who are the pickiest of eaters and even they loved them. I really feel the key to these smoothies is having sweet fresh ripe fruit. This way you don't have to add extra sugars through juices or other unhealthy sources. I am particular and shop at stores that carry really great produce. . . .

Whenever I serve water at a party or holiday, I like to make it extra special. This twist on serving water is perfect for your Thanksgiving dinner. Not only is it beautiful, but your guest will love the touch of flavor that cranberries and mint add. I like to serve my water in a decorative punch bowl or a drink dispenser. That way your guest can see what they are serving themselves, and it adds to the decor. For this water I've chosen a simple punch bowl. Treat your guests and . . .
Years ago my husband I lived in Long Beach, CA. There was this little restaurant in a strip mall called Cha For Tea. I still crave that place. They had the most delicious blended drinks with boba. They also had these crispy dumplings that were to die for. When I was developing this recipe I kept thinking of Cha - and wanted to re-create what I used to order there. The base of my drink is the Coconut Lime Rooibos from Takeya. I'm an herbal tea drinker, so this is right up my alley. I . . .
A little while ago I was contacted by a company called GoodBelly to see if Oh So would be interested in trying out some of their products. They sent me some amazing stuff. I decided to take their 12 day challenge and I noticed a difference on day 1. Seriously, its awesome. I honestly felt like it was cleaning me out.... I think my favorite is their PlusShot, because why not multitask? My kids favorite was probably the Acai Blueberry drink. Because that was their favorite I decided to use it . . .
I love smoothies- for my kids. As for myself and drinking them- I dunno, I just don't love them. I've been following a friend's account for years and she is who really turned me on to juicing. I oooo'ed and awww'ed over her morning juices forever and finally Kadee surprised me and sent me one from Kohls, a Jack Lalanne's Power Juicer Express (but in white). It took me a while to get it out of the box. I was kind of intimidated by it. What to I use, how much do I use? What do I combine, what do I . . .
