That time of year is right around the corner – crunchy leaves, sweaters, spiced cider, cinnamon candles, costume shopping, feast planning, pumpkin patch visiting…fall! My very favorite season! And with fall comes pumpkin everything! I adore pumpkin cookies, bread, steamers, pie…I could go on forever.
Whenever I say the word pumpkin I feel like I should say it ‘punkin.’ When I was dating my husband we had this strange experience where we say a black jetta on several occasions with a personalized license plate that said ‘punkin.’ I mean we saw this car all across San Diego county. It was the most random thing – and we still laugh about it. So with that being said, here are 14 of our favorite “punkin” recipes for you to try this fall.
These are a classic soft chocolate chip pumpkin cookie that is guaranteed to get lots and lots of compliments. Its a family recipe from Des and Aubrey’s grandma. I love grandma recipes – always yummy and treasured. These babies freeze great too! So bake up a batch and freeze half for later!

Mmmmm – this is seriously one of my favorite desserts. I love that firm, moist cake and the sweet cream cheese frosting together. This is another great freezer that can be made ahead of time and frozen until the day you serve it.
A savory take on that famous fall flavor with parmesan cheese and thyme. It will warm you body on a chilly fall night. I first tried this at my friend Marianna’s house and it was love at first bite!
