Today we are starting a holiday series that I have been wanting to do for literally years. I began pitching the idea of a service series years ago, but the time just never seemed right. A few months ago, we began planning our holiday posts and I decided this was the year! You might remember Des's post from last week with her Almond Poppyseed Bread- we were so lucky to collaborate with the LDS church and introduce their Christmas campaign #Light the World! The timing of our service series was . . .
We recently had the opportunity to assist Megan, from E.Interiors in her collaboration with World Market. Megan is someone I love! She not only has impeccable style and taste but has a generous heart, is smart in business and loving mother & friend. World Market approached her for a holiday entertaining post and she asked if I would be interested in providing food! I couldn't turn her down. Over on her post you can find tips and tricks for entertaining during holiday, but for this post I . . .
Around my house we take Halloween pretty seriously. We have more Halloween decorations than Christmas, we start planning costumes in July, and we always have a big adult Halloween party. We really look forward to some rare alone time with our friends sans kids. It gives us a chance to laugh and talk without being interupted and allows us to have tons and tons of fun! My husband and I have been throwing this party for about 11 years - so we have this down to a science! I want to share a . . .
This week we showcased a few recipes that were made in a 9x13 pan. the 9x13 pan is NOT just for cake mixes and casseroles - although we are certainly not apposed to those things either! We have a haa-uge list of recipes that were whipped up in our favorite item of bakeware. This will be a great post to pin or bookmark because we plan on adding to this list going forward! Or checkout our 9x13 tag for a blog roll of all of our 9x13 recipes. Below the links be sure to take a look at some of . . .
I've had this idea running thru my head for a while now - the idea of featuring all of our recipes that can be made in a 9x13 baking dish. Everyone has one, and the recipes you can whip up in this common pan are numerous. So this week we'll be featuring some new 9x13 recipes as well as reminding you of all of our previous 9x13 recipes. This post wouldn't be complete without mentioning our favorite 9x13 pan. The Fiesta rectangle baker. I truly truly love this pan. It always washes up nice . . .
This sauce is a recipe that has been sittin' around in my cupboard for years. It's a classic, timeless perfect chocolate sauce. It's so purrrfectly chocolatey so to satisfy the cravings of your choc-o-holic needs, but not too rich for those who are *gasp* not inclined toward the chocolate things of this world. You will still be wrapped around this sauce's little finger. Top it on your ice cream. Top it on your cheese cake, make banana splits, or bottle it up and give it to your friends. (you . . .
Last day of summer, friends. THIS IS IT. I know some people are dying to bust out the pumpkins (OK, I just bought like 7 from Trader Joe's today and just set them out on my porch 5 minutes ago. DO NOT HATE ME!) and the soups and crusty breads and the holiday baking...and yes I am there too, but a little part of me is always sad to officially say goodbye to each season. So I will do so with a bang with this banging summer veggie and pasta salad! It comes together pretty quickly. . . .

We have loved pressure cooker week! I know you're dying to go out and grab one, we absolutely love ours. These pressure cookers will save your school night dinner scrambles, so you can spend more time doing homework with your kids having Bachelor nights with the girls. As a recap, basically anything that can be done in the crockpot can be done in the pressure cooker 2-3 times as fast. you have to have liquid in the pot, so you're not going to get anything crispy in there. You can totally make . . .
