I don't think there is a kid more obsessed with dinos than mine. Truly. Parker plays, eats, sleeps, and breathes dinosaurs! So when talks of his 5th birthday party began (11 3/4 months ago), we both knew exactly what would be in the works. I bought these tiny little dinosaurs for super cheap on Amazon here and thought they'd be perfect atop some simple cupcakes. I also found this green shredded candy "sprinkles" that I used as grass. We had 3-feet-tall blow-up dinosaurs, masks . . .
Peaches are one of the best fruits of summer, so we totally thought they deserved their own week. We've loved infusing them with earthy, basil flavors, sweet and spicy, refreshing and minty, chocolate and caramel, deep-fried, and of course, right off the tree! Try one of our new recipes this week, or any of our classics. Millions of peaches, peaches for me... I just moved into a house with a big beautiful kitchen....the best part?! the PANTRY!! It's like a walk-closet. For years I've lived pretty much with just a shelf or two in the kitchen cupboard. Now I don't know what to do with all this space. Before, I would store some stuff in the garage on some shelves, but I didn't ever have a proper back-up supply of foods, and definitely no food storage. (I like to have at least three months in my pantry, trust me, it's come in handy when we have gone . . .

When I was pregnant with him I MAJORLY craved Baskin-Robbins. I sent my husband on late night runs ALL.THE.TIME. So when Baskin-Robbins asked us if we wanted to try their new Warm Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich there was no way I was going to say no. My little family made an evening of it - everyone got to choose . . .

It's no secret - I LOVE shrimp. Seriously one of my favorite foods. I like it grilled, roasted, cold with cocktail sauce, fried, in pasta...I could go on and on...but I'll stop so I don't end up sounding like Bubba Gump. I stumbled upon this tasty shrimp recipe a few years ago. I've prepared it roasted in the oven and on the grill. Both are delicious. Prepared roasted the flavors are rich, and grilled the flavors are fresh. Pictured here I have grilled it. I prefer grilling in the . . .
