    Cranberry Mimosa Mocktail

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Sweet and tart, cold and bubbly this Cranberry Mimosa mocktail will be your family's favorite celebration drink for all festivities. It's seriously easy and quick to make. Combine a few ingredients and you are done.

    WHAT IS A MIMOSA?

A mimosa is a brunch drink made with equal parts orange juice and champagne. There are a few different popular combinations of mimosas like cranberry mimosa's. Cranberry mimosa's include three ingredients- cranberry juice, orange juice and champagne. To make this family friendly we are using cram-apple martinelli's.

    WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?

    1. cran-apple sparkling juice (I use Martinelli)
    2. orange juice
    3. small oranges for garnish

WHAT IF I CANNOT FIND CRAN APPLE SPARKLING JUICE?

I am usually able to find it year round at a Kroger store, but if you cannot locate one grab a traditional bottle of Martinelli apple juice and 100% cranberry juice.

HOW TO MAKE CRANBERRY MIMOSA MOCKTAIL

    1. ADD ICE TO YOUR CUP
    2. FILL THE ORANGE JUICE UP ¼ of the way up.

ADD YOUR SPARKLING CRANBERRY APPLE JUICE

IF you are adding orange juice and cranberry juice then your proportions will be ¼ orange juice ¼ cranberry juice and the rest sparkling apple juice.

WHY ARE MIMOSA'S A BRUNCH FOOD?

The light bubbly and citrus flavors pair amazing with breakfast foods like salty bacon, sweet rolls, omelets and fresh fruit. It's the perfect companion without being overly sweet or tart.

WHAT KIND OF DRINKWARE DO I SERVE MIMOSA MOCKTAILS IN?

Mimosa's are traditionally served in champagne flutes, but nobody is watching-you serve them in whatever you want to serve them in! These are non-alcoholic so you dont need to worry about consuming too much alcohol.

CAN I MAKE A PITCHER OR DO SINGLE SERVINGS?

You can make a large pitcher of cranberry mimosa. This makes it much easier for serving to a crowd. Here are a few tips for making it in a larger batch.

    1. chill the liquids before
    2. pre-measure
    3. do not mix together until right before serving to help the carbonation stay.

CAN I SAVE LEFTOVER CRANBERRY MIMOSAS

If the mimosa is leftover from a pitcher and not a used glass you can save it! The carbonation will likely fizz out. Just store in the fridge.

SOME GOOD BRUNCH RECIPES TO SERVE WITH THESE CRANBERRY MIMOSA MOCKTAILS

    • COFFEE CAKE MUFFINS
    • PANCAKE SKEWERS
    • BAKED BLUEBERRY FRENCH TOAST
    • GERMAN PANCAKES

mimosas always remind me of that scene in the Incredibles where he's drinking this orange drink and I wanted to have one so bad. Now I can and so can my little ones!
