Kadee and I tried this coconut strawberry smoothie last month when we were walking around expo west. When we tried it we both exclaimed how delicious it was and asked how the lady made it. We couldn't believe how simple it was. 3 ingredients.

Coconut Strawberry Smoothie - Simple Clean Ingredients
- coconut milk
- frozen strawberries
- pure vanilla
This was all the the lady used, however I like to add a few additional ingredients to make it a little more healthier and (as my mom would say) "stick to our ribs" a little longer.
How to make coconut strawberry smoothie
Start by adding your liquid- 1 can of your favorite coconut milk. Then add a couple of cups of frozen strawberries. You can use your own organic frozen strawberries or a bag from the store. I love to do my own when strawberries are in season only because it ensures youre getting the sweetest berries! Sometimes store bought are more on the tart side. But either option is great!
Add vanilla and blend!
You can also play around with how thick you would like your coconut strawberry smoothie.
- For a thicker shake chill your coconut milk before hand and add more frozen strawberries.
- For a thinner shake use room temp milk and add fresh strawberries OR dilute it with yogurt, juice or milk.
Shake it up with toppings
We like to make our coconut strawberry smoothie a little thicker and add toppings! Bare has THE BEST topping for smoothie bowls. (or smoothies cups as we like to make them!) Our favorite is their toasted coconut and strawberry banana chips. We really love the added texture and flavor to our coconut strawberry smoothies. The chips and coconut NEVER go soggy.
Making protein "smoothie bowls" in wide cups is perfect for my kids especially (although I love it too) I like the smaller proportions and ease of holding the cup. Try it out next time...and DON'T forget the toppings!
