    Why Steak Tacos Work

These tacos are so flavorful you'll be craving them every taco Tuesday.

    • Tender juicy steak is simple to make with little prep.
    • The Chimichurri sauce compliment the steak perfectly with lots of flavor and freshness.
    • The recipe is great for the pickiest eaters.

Ingredients for Steak Tacos With Chimichurri Sauce

There are only a few ingredients you need for these steak tacos.

Herbs and ingredients for steak tacos and chimichurri dressing on a tray.
    1. Steak: I prefer flank steak for tacos but you can grill up your favorite cut of steak.
    2. Herbs: Chimichurri is a combo of many herbs- oregano, parsley, chilantro
    3. Garlic
    4. Red Wine Vinegar
    5. Olive Oil

    How to Make Steak Tacos

    • Flank Steak is a lean cut of beef and is best when cooked to medium rare and thinly sliced, making it perfect for tacos.
    • Marinate the stake in red wine vinegar or lime juice for about 30 minutes. This helps tenderize the meat.
    • Grill or Sauté the meat on a cast iron pan at high heat.
    • Allow the steak to rest for 10 minutes before slicing so you don’t lose all of the juice and flavor.
    • Slice the steak across the grain.

    The Best Steak Taco Sauce

Chimichurri is the best sauce for steak. It enhances the delicious steak flavor. It's really easy to make. Basically just throw everything into the blender and you're done.

    1. Add your liquid to the blender. Olive oil, red wine vinegar and lime juice.
    2. Add in your garlic, salt, seasoning and herbs.
    3. Blend to desired texture. I like mine pretty fine.
    4. Dress tacos with steak, avocado veggies, cheese and sauce.
