We're back with another summer snack idea! Up on the menu today are lime and sea salt sweet potato chips. Toss that bag of greasy potato chips in the trash and hand your kids and bowl of these babies! I love that I know what is in these snacks. Today all you have are sweet potatoes, lime, and a pinch of salt. I certainly don't feel guilt serving my kids this snack. With the sweet potato, the tart lime, and the crunch of sea salt - this is sure to be your new favorite afternoon . . .
Fruit leather is amazing, especially homemade fruit leather. I have loved it since I was a kid, and my kids love it now. The really tasty store bought fruit leather has a ton of sugar in it, and the organic sugar free fruit leather is kinda bland- at least compared to homemade fresh from the dehydrator/oven fruit leather. It's so easy to blend up in a blender, smooth out, bake, eat. You want to smooth it out so it is nice even. you don't want it to be too thick or it will take too long . . .
