I get in lunch ruts so easily.  I grow tired of the same ol' same ol'.  Recently my husband brought me home a sandwich from a local deli and I was majorly hooked!  Hot pastrami on toasted bread with cool avocado and creamy melted cheese.  Heaven.

We all know how expensive deli sandwiches are - so why not create this gourmet lunch at home?  I promise you will enjoy every bite of this sammy.

My toddler thought he could steal my apple and take a bite during my photo shoot.  He is so funny.

To make this sandwich - first pop your bread in the toaster.  Next prep your pastrami. I like to chop my pastrami.  Just roll it up on a cutting board and run a knife through it.  To warm it place on a microwave safe plate and drizzle with a little italian dressing.  Stick in the microwave for about 30-40 second until warmed through.   When your bread is toasted spread a little mayo on one side and half of an avocado sliced.  Layer with a little sliced provolone and finish with the warm pastrami.  I like to slice on the diagonal, but it you slice down the middle it will still be delicious. ;)

Next step - devour.  Just typing this makes me hungry!
