How about a special little spritzer for Easter? This drink will satisfy you craving for summer and leave you refreshed, so you can indulge with your Strawberry Coconut Cake.
I’ve always liked special drinks and I love making punch recipes – so I have been so intrigued by the soda stream. Ever since they came out I have had my eye on them and thought that I would love to own one. KitchenAid recently released a line of Sparkling Beverage Makers by Soda Stream that are to die for cute. They have the same Soda Stream technology to give you that perfectly bubbly beverage, but they are attractive enough to leave on your counter. I love an appliance I can see, because it is out of sight, out of mind for me. If it is tucked into a cabinet I will not use it.
I was amazed at the amount of fizz I had in ordinary tap water after I used the Soda Stream for the first time. It creates perfect bubbly water.
I’ve used this thing a ton. Sometimes I’ll just pour myself a glass of sparkling water with a lime wedge, sometimes I’ll carbonate water for my crystal light, and I even used it during a girls night for an Italian Soda bar. I saved the money on liters of club soda that I would have purchased in the past.
And it’s a cinch to use – Simply fill your bottle with water, place it on the Sparkling Beverage Maker and pull down the lever. If you’ve been unsure about a sparkling beverage maker I can honestly say that I love mine. It has been so so fun to use.
I was delighted when I created this Coconut Lime Spritzer. It is so refreshing and delicious. I love the flavors and scent of coconut and lime. Who else was a Bath and Body Works coconut lime verbena lover back in the day? The fragrance brings back lots and lots of wonderful memories for me.
I used Stevia in the raw instead of sugar. I hate drinking my calories, and Stevia is considered a clean artificial sweetener. I created an easy, fast, simple syrup with lime juice and coconut extract and added it to my homemade carbonated water. Of course you can use bottle club soda if you prefer.
This spritzer will be the perfect addition to your Easter appetizers, a spring BBQ, or to a lazy afternoon watching Netflix.
