This is a simple way to make your home smell amazing without doing all that cooking and baking. I usually throw whatever I think would smell good together in a pot, add some water, and let it simmer all day long. This makes my home feel so much cozier and brings in the Christmas cheer! Today we are doing apples, cinnamon, oranges, rosemary, and pinecones. Your home will smell like Christmas village in no time! I also wanted to talk about my new favorite knife. This baby is so . . .
sigh. The beach is wonderful. just looking at pictures of the beach relaxes you doesn't it? We were so excited when Jenna from Small Fry contacted us to collaborate with her on a Beach Easter Egg hunt. We'd do the food and she'd do the party/hunt kids would play, we'd all eat (ok maybe the adults more than the kids). We would get a chance to learn from the best, observe how they do what they do. Hello! Emily here, from offtract.com. It's nearly Valentines Day and what better way to show someone that you care than by creating something from scratch, and from the heart. This project is for all skill and age levels, just make sure an adult is handling the cutting and glue-gunning and you'll do just peachy! If you are ready to get started, so am I! SUPPLY . . .
1. I have seen a few of these "Thanksgiving Trees" around Pinterest but this one is the cutest one I've come across. Simply Vintage Girl nailed it. Cheap and easy to make. 2. I know this one is a little "corny" but I think it's genius. I can see my lil' girl having fun making these Corny Containers and eating a piece... or two of candy along the way. You can even make it for a neighbor or friend this month. 3. This craft is a little more difficult from Two Shades of Pink. Everyone loves . . .
I feel like to tell my kitchen table story properly I need to start at the beginning. Way back when we had one child (and one more on the way) we were also starting the grand adventure of law school. For our big move across country we wanted to save as much money as possible on a truck and sell all our furniture then buy new or used when we got to our destination. We arrived, bought craigslist leather couches and a brand spankin new table. My pride and joy for like 2 weeks. It was kind of . . .
