This cucumber limeade is one of my favorite drink recipes. The first time I had it was at my sis-in-laws bridal shower. One sip and I was hooked! It so easy, simple…and so darn refreshing! I have made it for countless parties, holiday events and church dinners and it is always a hit!
How to make Cucumber Limeade
The best part is that this recipe only calls for a few ingredients. You can find them at most stores. What you need:
Ginger ale (or a lemon lime soda if you are unable to find ginger ale.)
That’s seriously all you need. I like to serve this drink out of a large beautiful drink dispenser. This recipe makes a lot and is the perfect refreshing drink for any get together. Your guests will drain the dispenser. It happens overtime I make this drink.
Make this drink about 30 minutes before serving and add the cucumber. This helps the flavors to marry and the drink really take on that fresh cucumber flavor everyone loves! I like to also have my ginger ale chilled so when I add ice to keep the drink cold for the duration of the event, it doesn’t become too watered down.
During the holidays and I love to pop in some fresh cranberries for embellishment. We don’t drink them but it adds the perfect touch to the drink dispenser!
When I’m making this for other times during the year – for Halloween, birthday parties, or special evenings-I garnish with to fresh cucumbers and limes!
The cool crisp flavor of the cucumber combined with the tart limeade and bubbles equals perfection!!! Try this for your next party and I promise you won’t be disappointed!
