Apple Muffin Recipe

Looking for a delicious and healthy breakfast option? Our apple muffin recipe is so dang good! Packed with fresh apples and warm spices, these apple crumble muffins are a perfect snack or breakfast. These muffins are tender and full of hearty apples, and topped with a crumbly streusel that will leave you coming back for more! Let us show you just how easy they are to make!

Ingredients – 2 cups flour – ½ teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon baking powder – ¾ teaspoon cardamom – 1 granny smith apple – 2 large eggs – 1 cup sugar – 1 cup milk – ¼ cup canola oil – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Streusel Topping – ¼ cup butter softened – ¼ cup walnuts chopped – ¼ cup oats – ⅓ cup brown sugar – ½ cup flour – 1 teaspoon cinnamon

1. Prepare the streusel topping.  2. Work until a course crumble is formed. Set aside. 3. Wash and die your apples. 4. Set aside. 

5. Combine egg, milk, oil, and vanilla. 6. Whisk until smooth. Set aside. 7. Combine flour, sugar, cardamom, baking powder, and Salt. Stir together.  8. Pour wet ingredients into the bowl with your dry ingredients. Add in apples.

9. Fold wet ingredients into the dry until it's just mixed. 10. Scoop batter into your prepared muffin pan.  11. Add your streusel mixture to the top of each filled muffin cup. 12. Put into oven at 500 degrees. Turn down to  400 and bake for 13-15 minutes.
