LIMONCELLO LEMON SLUSHIE

▢1 cup sugar ▢3 cups water ▢1.5 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice about 6-7 large lemons ▢snow cone Ice ▢zest of 2 lemons

INGREDIENTS

In a pan combine 1 cup water, 1.5 cups lemon juice and 1 cup sugar. Bring to a boil and stir till sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, and transfer to pitcher. Add remaining water, and allow sugar syrup to cool to room temperature.

STEP 1

Using a lemon peel zester, zest two lemons and put into syrup. – Allow to marinate for a few hours up to days in refrigerator.

STEP 2

Fill your blendtec canister with ice, crush using ice crush setting so ice turns to a fluffy snow like consistency.

STEP 3

Fill cups with "snow".

STEP 4

Pour over ice the limoncello syrup.
