TART STRAWBERRY RHUBARB PIE

▢2 cups strawberries slices ▢1 lb rhubarb about 3 cups ▢1 ½ cup sugar ▢3 tablespoon tapioca ▢¼ teaspoon salt ▢¼ teaspoon nutmeg ▢1 tablespoon butter ▢1 egg ▢3 tablespoon water

INGREDIENTS

Cut rhubarb into ½ inch pieces (about 3 cups). Add fresh strawberries. Add remaining ingredients and mix to coat fruit.

STEP 1

Let stand 20 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare pie crust

STEP 2

Fill with fruit mixture and dot with butter.

STEP 3

Put pie crust on top.

STEP 4

Bake at 400 for 35-40 minutes.
