Strawberry Syrup ▢1.5 cups sugar ▢2 cups water ▢2 cups strawberries ▢1 ½ cups fresh lemon juice ▢1 lemon zest Strawberry lemonade ▢cold water or sparkling water chilled ▢sliced lemons and strawberries for garnish
Cut stems, and wash strawberries. Slice in half. In a small sauce pan add sugar, 2 cups water, strawberries, lemon juice and lemon zest.
Bring to a boil, stirring often and then simmer until strawberries are about disintegrated. Remove from heat and let cool.
Add to a 2 liter pitcher, fill remaining pitcher with water. Stir and place in refridgerator.
