HALLOWEEN WITCH HAT COOKIES
▢ ½ cup butter ▢ ½ cup peanut butter ▢ ½ cup brown sugar ▢ ½ cup sugar ▢ 1 egg ▢ ½ teaspoon baking soda ▢ ½ teaspoon salt ▢ 1 ¼ cup flour ▢ 30 hershey kisses unwrapped ▢ 30 chocolate melts different colors
Start by beating your butter. You do not want melted butter, cold butter is better. Then add your peanut butter and beat together. Then add in your white and brown sugar and then beat all ingredients together.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before making dough into ping pong size balls.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. 1-2 minutes before removal add the chocolate melt to the top of the cookie. (do not press down, just lightly put in the middle of the top of the cookie).
Add hershey kisses in the center right after they come out of the oven. As you are gently pressing down twist the hershey kiss into the chocolate melt so it folds around the bottom of the kiss. Remove immediately from hot cookie sheet.
