▢ 1 cup brown butter ▢1 cup brown sugar ▢½ cup white sugar ▢2 eggs ▢1 teaspoon salt ▢1 teaspoon baking soda ▢1 teaspoon vanilla ▢2 ½ cup flour ▢2 cups chocolate chips
HOW TO MAKE BROWN BUTTER Cut your butter into tbs and add to pan on medium heat. Stir the butter occsionaly as it comes to a gentle bubble. The fat will seperate from the oil and continue to bubble the entire time. It will change from yellow to a deep golden amber color. When it reaches that color remove immediatly. It will burn quickly from there. Place in seperate bowl and let chill for about an hour before adding to the cookie dough.
Use a cookie scoop so your cookies are all evenly formed. I am using a 1 ½ TBS cookie scoop and 12 cookie will fit on one sheet cake pan.
Bake your cookies for about 8 minutes. It's hard to say exactly how long simply because your cookies may be bigger or smaller and all ovens cook differently. Different climates come into play here too. You want to look for the edges turning a slight golden brown and becoming firm.
