Homemade BBQ Sauce
BBQ chicken is a favorite at our house – in fact, it is my husband’s absolute favorite dinner. Over the years I’ve perfected how to make tender, juicy, and delicious bbq chicken and today I’m sharing all of my secrets!

- 1.5 cups ketchup
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- ½ teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1 tablespoon honey
Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Transfer to an airtight container.
