Sauce
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ⅛ cup chili powder
- 2 15 ounce cans tomato sauce
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoon chicken bouillon like knorr
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ⅛ teaspoon ground chipotle optional - this will give it a kick
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes optional
In a large skillet heat olive oil. Add flour - stir and cook for 1 minute.
Stir in chili powder, tomato sauce, and water.
Add bouillon, cumin, salt, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, and chipote and parsley if desired.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge up to a week.
