Cinnamon Apples Recipe

Apple Peeler
Cast Iron Skillet
- 2-3 slices of bacon
- 6 cups of diced Apples 3 large apples or 6 small
- 4 tablespoon Butter
- ½ cup Water
- 2 teaspoon Cornstarch
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Nutmeg
Cook your bacon, let drain on a paper towel lined plate. Dice into ½ inch pieces.
Peel and dice apples.
Melt butter in a skillet and add apples.
Sauté apples in butter for about 7 minutes, or until slightly soften.
Mix cornstarch in water until dissolved then add to skillet. Stir to combine.
Add in brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well and simmer for about 2 minutes.
Stir in bacon bits/pieces.
Serve over pancakes, pork, ice cream, oatmeal or anything you desire.
