▢ 1 Gallon Apple Juice or Apple Cider ▢ ½ cup Brown Sugar▢ ½ cup frozen orange juice concentrate▢ 1 orange sliced▢ 2 teaspoon whole cloves▢ 2 teaspoon whole allspice ▢ 3 sticks cinnamon▢ 2 whole nutmeg or 1 teaspoon ground
Use a large piece of cheesecloth to wrap whole spices. Alternately, you can use a fine mesh strainer to strain after steeping. Tie cheesecloth into a knot to secure the spices. Pour apple juice into your pressure cooker, slow cooker, or a large pot. Add brown sugar.
To your pot, add frozen orange juice concentrate, spices and sliced orange. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. Allow a 10 minute natural release before quick releasing the rest of the steam.
