EASY WEIGHT LOSS SOUP

▢2 lbs ground turkey or beef *can also use 2-3 chicken breasts ▢1 onion diced ▢3 garlic cloves ▢2 carrot ▢2 celery stalks ▢1 zucchini ▢1 yellow squash ▢1 can beans your favorite, drained and rinsed ▢½ head of cabbage about 1-2 cup ▢1 can diced tomatoes ▢1 small potato or sweet potato optional ▢32 ounces or about 4 cups broth ▢1 teaspoon oregano leaves ▢1 TBS chicken or beef bouillon ▢sea salt and fresh ground pepper

INGREDIENTS

In a stock pot start by adding your ground beef/turkey, diced onion and garlic. Saute until cooked.

STEP 1

Prepare all of your vegetables by cutting them into bite sized pieces.

STEP 2

Drain any excess grease from pot and then add remaining veggies, including tomatoes beans  and chicken broth, water and bullion.

STEP 3

Add 1 teaspoon salt and oregano and bouillon and then bring soup to a boil then turn to low to simmer. Allow soup to cook until veggies are just fork tender. Remove from heat.

STEP 4

Flavor with more salt and pepper, as needed. Enjoy!
