Avocado Salmon

  • 4 salmon filets
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1 roma tomato diced
  • juice of one lime
  • salt to taste


  • Prepare your marinade by adding Italian seasoning, paprika, salt and pepper to a medium bowl.
  • Add olive oil and whisk to combine.
  • Coat salmon filets with marinade and allow to sit for 30 minutes.
  • Cook salmon on a grill that has been preheated to about 450-500 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the salmon skin side down on oiled grates. Cook for about 5-6 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until internal temp reads 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Prepare avocado relish by combining diced avocado, diced tomato, lime juice, and salt to taste in a medium bowl. Toss to combine.
  • Top salmon filets with 2 tablespoon of avocado relish. Serve immediately.
