Ingredients
  • 12 large honey crisp apples see notes
  • 1 cup water
Instructions
  1. Peel and core all apples. Cut into into chunks. 

    Add to instant pot with 1 cup water.

    Cook high pressure 10 minutes. Natural release.

  2. Add apples to blender and pulse until it reaches your desired consistency. For a smoother applesauce pulse several times. Apples will be very soft, you wont need to blend. 

  3. If desired add cinnamon or sugar at blending stage to mix well.

You can use your favorite sweet, crisp apples. I prefer honeycrisp and fuji apples. 

If your apples are out of season or the applesauce is not as sweet as you desire add 1-3 tbs of sugar or honey to sweeten.
