Chocolate Banana Pancake Skewers

Make these homemade pancakes, put them in baggies, and freeze them instead of spending money on the packaged kind.

Ingredients

Aubrey's Blender Pancakes

  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon canola oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips optional

Pancake Skewer Ingredients

  • Bamboo Skewers
  • 2 bananas sliced
  • 1 pint strawberries hulled and sliced
  • ¼ cup nutella
  • 1 carton blueberries

Instructions

  • In a blender jar combine milk, egg, and oil.
  • On top of liquids add flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  • Blend until well combined - about 30 seconds.
  • Use a ½ teaspoon measuring spoon to portion out batter onto a nonstick skillet.
  • When bubbles begin to form on the surface, flip the pancakes over. This recipe makes about 52 mini pancakes.
  • Spread chocolate hazelnut spead onto the top of a few of the pancakes.
  • Skewer with blueberries, a banana slice, and a strawberry slice.  Use 4+ pancakes per skewer.
  • Serve immediately.
