Citrus Slaw Tacos

Ingredients

Citrus slaw

  • 2 cup green cabbage or three cups of bagged slaw
  • 2 cup purple cabbage
  • 1 carrot julienne cut
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • ½ cup cilantro chopped
  • 2 tablespoon mayo
  • 1 juice of lemon
  • 1 juice of lime
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey heaping tablespoon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper to taste

optional Chili lime Chicken Marinade

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 4 chicken breast
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • juice and zest of two limes
  • 1 tbsp heaping sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

Cirtus Slaw

  • Chop cabbage, onion, carrot, cilantro, combine in large bowl.
  • In a small bowl mix mayo, lemon, lime, oil, honey salt and pepper.
  • Stir together and let rest for 30 minutes. top on your favorite taco with pico de Gallo, cojita cheese or feta.

Notes

If making marinade place raw chicken in air tight container and marinate for 2 hours+
