CAN I SUBSTITUTE FRESH PINEAPPLE FOR CANNED?
I really don't recommend it. The fresh burst of flavor and crunch that comes from freshly cut pineapple can not be mimicked from canned pineapple. I'm sure though, if you are really in a pinch go ahead and try it!
I DON'T LIKE TOMATOES WHAT ELSE CAN I SUB INGREDIENTS FOR?
If you are not a fan for one or some of these ingredients try substuting for one of the following. Also, feel free to add them even with the ingredients listed!
- red bell pepper
- sweet onion
- black beans
WHAT CAN I SERVE PINEAPPLE MANGO SALSA WITH?
- Top it on some grilled lemon-lime chicken
- Carnitas tacos
- Smoked Tacos Al Pastor
- Serve with chips, guac and fresh salsa for a salsa board
- Taco Salad
- Over nachos!
