Honey Glazed Pressure Cooker Carrots

This dish is a simple classic side to accent all those complicated entrees you got goin'!

Ingredients

  • 6-10 whole carrots
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 Tbs honey
  • 2 Tbs Butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • parsely for garnish optional

Instructions

Stovetop Instructions

  • Peel and cut carrots as desired.
  • Increase water to 2 cups.
  • Bring carrots and water to a boil and let simmer until they reach desired tenderness.
  • Drain carrots (you may leave a few TBS of water) and add honey, butter, salt and pepper.
  • Serve immediately.

Pressure Cooker Instructions

  • Peel and cut carrots as desired.
  • Combine all ingredients in pressure cooker.
  • Close lid, and set valve to seal. Cook on high for 4 minutes.
  • Use a quick release when cooking is complete.
  • Use a slotted spoon to transfer to platter. Serve immediately.
