Homemade Strawberry Lemonade

Ingredients

Simple Syrup

  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water

Strawberry lemonade

  • 1.5 cups lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cups blended strawberries strained if desired
  • 3-5 cold water or sparkling water chilled
  • sliced lemons and strawberries for garnish

Instructions

Simple Syrup

  • In a small sauce pan add sugar, 2 cups water. Bring to a boil, stirring often. When sugar is dissolved and mixture is clear set aside and let cool.

Strawberry Lemonade

  • Cut stems, and wash strawberries.
  • Blend strawberries in blender until completely smooth. Strain in a mesh strainer if desired.
  • In a large pitcher add strawberry puree, simple syrup, lemon juice. Stir till combined. Add three cups ice cold water. If desired add more water to taste.
  • Serve over ice, garnish with lemons and strawberries.
