Buttermilk

This easy method is the perfect substitute when a recipe calls for buttermilk.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Vinegar or Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • In a liquid measuring cup add 1 Tablespoon of either white vinegar or lemon juice.{I usually use lemon juice}
  • Fill it up the rest of the way to the 1 cup line with milk.
  • Stir and allow to stand for 5 minutes.. and tada! Your done! Works like a dream.
