Healthy, filling and so flavorful! Sweet, crusty sweet potato paired with salty crispy bacon, and crunchy pecans. The combination is mind blowing and so delicious you won't be able to stop!
Preheat oven to 425. Wash, peel and cube pecans into 1 inch cubes. PLace in a large bowl.
Add syrup, chili powder, cumin, salt, bacon, pecans and stir. Spread on a lightly greased sheet pan on a single layer.
Place in oven. Cook for about 15 and stir. Continue cooking and stirring every 15 minutes until sweet potatoes are crisp and slightly browned on the edges. totally cook time will be about 20-30 minutes.
After 15-20 minutes YOU MUST stir the sweet potatoes. This will help the bacon grease to coat and crisp the sweet potatoes flavor them.
