Skip the drive thru and make this seasonable favorite at home - year round!  This peppermint milkshake is a copycat of the famous Chick Fil A versions that is only available a few months out of the year.  With a handful of ingredients and a few minutes you'll be able to enjoy this treat whenever you want.

  • 8 candy canes
  • 2.5 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate shaved
  1. Prepare your chocolate by shaving approximately 1/4 cup from a semi sweet baking bar using a microplane grater of vegetable peeler.

  2. In a blender pulse candy canes until they are the size of small pebbled.

  3. Add ice cream, milk, chocolate, and peppermint extract.

  4. Blend until smooth - about 10 seconds.

  5. Top with whipped cream, and a cherry.
