Ingredients
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/8 cup chili powder
  • 2 15 ounce cans tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp chicken bouillon like knorr
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp ground chipotle optional - this will give it a kick
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes optional
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet heat olive oil. Add flour - stir and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Stir in chili powder, tomato sauce, and water.

  3. Add bouillon, cumin, salt, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, and chipote and parsley if desired.
  4. Simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge up to a week.
