Add one cup of water to your Instant Pot.
Insert metal trivet and place eggs on top.
Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
Let naturally release for 5 minutes and then release the rest of the steam.
Transfer eggs to an ice bath (large bowl of water filled with water and ice cubes) and let stand for 5 minutes.
Take a clean needle and poke a tiny little hole in the top of the eggs. This allows the air to escape from the inside of the egg and the egg to expand without cracking the egg.
Lay your eggs in a pot and fill just above the eggs with cold water.
Drain water cool.
