Creamy Grape Salad with Brown Sugar and Pecans

This creamy grape salad has a sweet, creamy, cool sauce. Crunchy, crisp juicy grapes. Buttery warm pecans. It's the perfect combination of some of the world's best foods

Ingredients

  • 4 pound grapes {mixed colors} cleaned
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese; room temp
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

topping

  • 1 cup brown sugar; packed
  • 1 cup crushed pecans

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and crushed pecans for the topping. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, blend together cream cheese, sugar sour cream and vanilla until smooth.
  • Stir in the grapes.
  • Cover with the topping and chill for at least two hours.

Notes

Can I prepare this ahead of time?
You can make this salad a few hours before serving. I would not make it the day before becuase the brown sugar turns too weepy. But the morning of is fine! 
How do I store leftovers? 
This is great as leftovers! the brown sugar topping most likely will not still be in tact, but the salad is still delicious. Just cover or store in an air tight container.
