Notes

Have some fun and use your creativity! Anything is going to look good with fresh berries! I even took some slices of strawberries and cut them into little stars for a more patriotic theme.

HOW TO LAYER YOUR TRIFLE

This is the fun part! I like to make 2-3 layers. Decide on how many layer you are going to make and pre-divide the food up into those portions.

FAQ's

CAN I MAKE THIS AHEAD OF TIME?

yes! If you are making it 1-2 days ahead of time, bake your cake, make your cream and prepare your fruit  but DO NOT layer until a few hours before serving. Keep all three in separate air tight containers in the fridge.
For the day of, you can make it as soon as you get up and let it sit in the fridge, covered, until serving.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It should last a few days.
