EASY PIE CRUST RECIPE

▢4 cups of flour ▢1 ⅓ cup shortening ▢1 teaspoon sugar ▢1 teaspoon salt ▢1 cup Ice cold water

INGREDIENTS

Mix your dry ingredients.

STEP 1

Cut shortening into dry ingredients using butter knives and criss crossing them or you can use a pastry cutter.

STEP 2

Slowly pour in ice cold water and mix until dough pulls away from side. Keep cutting until firm ball forms.

STEP 3

Divide dough into 4 balls and roll out.

STEP 4

Fold into halves to transfer into pie plate so it doesn't rip.

STEP 5

Bake at 425 for 15 minutes if you're just cooking the crust.
