BAKED BRIE WITH APPLES AND PECANS

▢1 small apple preferably McIntosh,Cortland or Granny Smith ▢⅓ cup golden raisins ▢1 cup apple cider ▢1 4- inch Brie ▢1 teaspoon salt ▢optional chopped peacans

INGREDIENTS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Core and chop apple.

STEP 1

Place apple in saucepan with raisins, salt and cider and boil gently until apples are tender but not mushy about 2 min. 

STEP 2

Put Brie in an oven proof dish slightly larger than the brie.

STEP 3

Strain the liquid from the apple/raisin mixture and place on top of brie. Add pecans on top if using.

STEP 4

Bake for 15-20 minutes.

STEP 5

Serve with your favorite crackers.
