Easy Sausage Dip

Three ingredients.  Four steps.  You’ll please a crowd with this easy sausage dip without breaking a sweat.  Savory sausage, spicy ro-tel, and smooth cream cheese come together with tortilla chips for a warm and indulgent dip.

What Do You Need Make Easy Sausage Dip?

This dip is terribly easy.  All you’ll need is:
  1. 2 pounds Italian sausage
  2. 16 ounces cream cheese
  3. 20 ounces ro-tel

How Do You Make Easy Sausage Dip?

Making the dip is nearly as simple as the ingredient list!
  1. Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Melt cream cheese into sausage.
  3. Add rotel and heat thru.
  4. Garnish and serve with corn chips.

Pro Tip: Serve dip in a crockpot to keep it warm.

You Pick The Heat Level!

It’s gotta be a close second to bacon right?  The sausage mixed with tomatoes with green chilis is what gives this dip a little kick. If you want a lot of heat, buy hot sausage and the “hot” ro-tel. We stick to mild all around and it has plenty of flavor and spicy for our taste.

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ground Italian sausage
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 20 oz Ro-tel or canned diced tomatoes with green chilis
Instructions
  1. brown ground sausage and drain excess grease.

  2. Warm cream cheese in same pan with sausage, add rotel.
  3. Stir until cheese is melted and everything combined well.
  4. Serve hot with tortilla chips for dipping.

For a mild dip use mild ro-tel and sausage.

For a hot dip use hot ro-tel and sausage.
