This is our go-to, always easy, always tasty, fresh veggie side. Â It goes with practically everything and I've found that asparagus is nearly always available at the grocery store year round. Â I hesitated posting this recipe because it is sooooooo easy. Â But - it's a basic and a staple at our house, so I thought it was worth sharing.
Prepping asparagus is really a cinch. Â All you need to do is wash and trim. Â To figure out where you should trim your ends take on and bend until is snaps in to two pieces. Â Use that breaking line as a guide for trimming the rest of the bunch.
Toss in olive oil, and sprinkle with kosher salt. Â Kosher salt is the secret ingredient. Â Regular old table salt just won't be the same. Â Spread on to a baking sheet and throw it into the oven for 15 minutes. Â That's it! Â A perfect, fresh, and delicious addition to your dinner.
I hope this side becomes a go-to in your house like it is in ours.

kosher salt! Ah! No wonder mine always seems to come out aright. I also tend to overcook it! The bending tip is great to know! I will be trying it next time!
