    HEALTHY INGREDIENTS

I'm a mom of 5 and always looking for a healthy, delicious cool treat- especially one that is not loaded up with sugar! This recipe is perfectly sweet without the sugar. Here is what you need:

    • ripe peaches
    • greek vanilla yogurt
    • honey!

HOW TO PICK THE PERFECT RIPE PEACH?

You want to have the ultimate sweet peach. When choosing the peach make sure the flesh is tender to the touch, not mushy, but soft and ripe.

CAN I USE FROZEN OR CANNED PEACHES?

YES! If peaches are out of season you can use canned or frozen peaches in place of fresh peaches. They sometimes will be over sweet (peaches canned in syrup) or not sweet enough (frozen peaches) so make sure to adjust the amount of honey you add to the blender.

HOW TO MAKE CREAMY PEACHES AND CREAM POPSICLE

Place all ingredients a blender and blend!

If you like a little added texture to your popsicles consider adding some fresh peach slices in the popsicle molds first. My kids love the surprise!

ADD THE SMOOTHIE TO THE POPSICLE MOLD

Fill the mold about ¾ full just to make sure it won't overflow when expanding as its freezing.

MY POPSICLE MOLD IS DIFFERENT HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH SMOOTHIE TO MAKE?

Because we don't all have the same popsicle mold (you can get mine from amazon here) it can be tricky to know how much to make in advance. Before making the smoothie pour water into your popsicle molds 1 cup at a time. My molds hold about 4 cups of liquid.

ALSO If  adding fresh fruit then you don't need to make as much. But now I have a good idea on how much to make. This peaches and cream smoothie popsicle recipe makes 4 cups. If you have extra serve to your kids as a drink!

PROTIP ON HOW TO MAKE YOUR POPSICLE STICK STRAIGHT AND STAY STRAIGHT!

Here are a few tips to having a stick straight handles:

    1. Let the popsicle freeze for 30-60 minutes, the liquid will firm up and then you can add the stick.
    2. Purchase a mold with a lid included- mine came with a lid with slots so I can slip the sticks in and they stay until frozen.
    3. Add fresh fruit. Adding the fruit holds up the stick :)

HOW LONG DO I NEED TO FREEZE CREAMY PEACH POPSICLES?

Popsicles take about 4-8 hours to completely freeze.

HOW LONG DO CREAMY PEACH POPSICLES LAST IN THE FREEZER?

To help your popsicles last longer I highly recommend removing from the popsicle mold after they are freezing and storing in an air tight container. Wrapping them plastic wrap will before placing in an air tight bag/container will also help keep their freshness
