In need of a fresh, healthy pasta salad with a light tangy dressing? WHO ISN'T?! Its the perfect party salad, perfect dinner side, lunch with friends? This healthy pasta salad will be your new favorite dish. I promise!

healthy bow tie pasta and champagne dressing

    Easy fresh pasta salad

This salad literally throws together in minutes, and takes only a few ingredients. You will need

    1. fresh spinach
    2. cherry tomatoes
    3. ripe avocado
    4. cooked pasta
    5. BRIANNAS Champagne Vinaigrette

two bowls of healthy bow tie pasta with bamboo silverware

How to make healthy pasta salad

Step one: cook your bowtie pasta according to the package directions. I always follow the boiling time on the package- it leaves you with the perfect al dente pasta! You do not want soggy pasta for this.

PRO-TIP: Cook your pasta ahead of time and place in the fridge so it is nice and chilled and ready to throw together in minutes before your party or dinner.

Step 2:  Slice your cherry tomatoes in half and dice or slice your avocado.

cut tomatoes, avocado, feta and fresh spincach and champagne dressing

Step 3: Place everything in a big bowl together and drizzle BRIANNAS Champagne Vinaigrette dressing over the salad. Then gently toss!

PRO-TIP: Don't pour the dressing over too far in advance of your meal. 30 minutes or so if fine, but too much longer the spinach leaves will become wilted.

What salad dressing do I use for healthy  pasta salad?

There is only one salad dressing to use with this salad hands down. BRIANNAS Champagne Vinaigrette pairs so perfectly with these flavors and textures it's a must have!! This champagne vinaigrette has a smooth, savory, tangy flavor that compliments the feta, crunchy spinach and juicy tomatoes. Add the creamy avocado and you have a home run!

I have been using Girard's Champange dressing for year and you are right, it is the best! The feta would really be the hero of this salad for me. Looks like a great labor day fixin'!

When you chill the pasta in the fridge do you add some olive oil or something to help prevent it from sticking?

Hi Ann! I usually let it cool and then add my dressing and chill it in the refrigerator. That way the dressing has time to flavor the pasta, but olive oil would do the trick as well. Maybe just 1/2 a teaspoon or so. Hope you like it!
