Each year the Expo West Natural Product Expo is something we look forward to. We spend two days pounding the pavement to meet new brands, and sample lots and lots of delicious foods. We love learning about new ideas and trends, and then sharing them with you guys! Des and I also love working together and enjoy spending that weekend together. Today we want to share our top 3 favorite products that we learned about at the convention.
EXPO WEST REVIEW
Before we get to the goods – we were so lucky to meet up with some of our favorite fellow foodies. Pictured here are Erin from Meaningful Eats, Chandice from This Vivacious Life, and Shannon from Clean Eats & Treats. These girls are the real deal and we are so lucky to have met them thru this blogging world and to now call them friends. If you haven’t checked out their blogs – you must! They are the best!
We’ve been big fans of Made In Nature for a long time, so it is ALWAYS a treat to stop by their booth. This year we were able to sample some old favs and some new found favs. I’m a big fan of their figgy pops, so I was anxious to try their new nana pops. So delicious! And of course we couldn’t pass up the dried mangos! If you haven’t picked up a big bag of them at Costco, you must!!! They are a serious obsession around here.
This company is delicious! They make real maple syrup. What Des and I fell in love with was the maple butter. Holy moly! It was so dang good! They served us a little taste of it and we were immediately asking them where we could buy this stuff. They also make maple flavored cotton candy. Divine.
One of the biggest complaints about Hazelnut spreads is the sugar content. We were delighted when we came across Choco Hazel. It is made with stevia, so the sugar count is not sky high. And the best part? It still tastes delicious!
There you go – our top three favorite products for this year’s Expo West review. We hope you’ll try them out!
