I've always loved granola bars. In college I would carry them in my backpack for an quick and easy snack - and now I carry them in my purse to tide me over while I'm out shopping, or to hand to my little boys if their tummies start to growl. Better For You Homemade granola bars have half of the ingredients you find in a store bought granola bar, they are easy to make (my kind of food), and DELICIOUS! When Dole asked us if we wanted to partner with them to create a snack hack using some of . . .

Fruit leather is amazing, especially homemade fruit leather. I have loved it since I was a kid, and my kids love it now. The really tasty store bought fruit leather has a ton of sugar in it, and the organic sugar free fruit leather is kinda bland- at least compared to homemade fresh from the dehydrator/oven fruit leather. It's so easy to blend up in a blender, smooth out, bake, eat. You want to smooth it out so it is nice even. you don't want it to be too thick or it will take too long . . .

Hi friends! We hope you are having a pleasant Thanksgiving whether feasting with the family or enjoying a quiet vacation. We have been baking our buns off around here and are so so grateful for the opportunity to do so. We realize that cooking and baking is a luxury all in its own. To fix a meal or bake a treat requires a substantial amount of time, energy, ingredients, and skill. Obviously some meals are easier than others but as culinary skills develop so does the passion for adventurous . . .

There is something you should know about me...I am a makeup and product junkie. I seriously can't control myself. I am like a kid in a candy store at Sephora or Ulta. I love trying new mascaras, lipsticks, lotions, you name it! I also have a nail polish collection that would put the local drug store's selection to shame. It's an illness...and one that is hard on the pocketbook! With that being said I want to share some of my very favorite beauty finds and a few non-beauty finds that I . . .
Ribs. Is there any food that screams testosterone or carnivore more than ribs? Or a summer backyard BBQ with kids running around while you gnaw on some bones? Or TEXAS?! Yee-haw!!! Actually, Texas is famous for brisket, but whatever. I still love me a good rack 'o sticky ribs. How about scary, tedius, and simply not worth it? No way my friends! Erase this thinking from your brains, because ribs are E.A.S.Y. Yeah, I said it. Easy. My brother is actually more of the rib doctor than me, so . . .
Who doesn't love fried chicken? Right?! So you can imagine how excited we were when KFC contacted us about trying their new Chicken Bites and sponsoring a giveaway for one of our readers. I believe the invitation was extended after catching wave of our Chicken Fried Chicken with Country Gravy post. We gathered the OhSo girls and our littles and met at KFC for a sunny lunch outside on their patio. Seriously impressed. Some of us got the new Chicken Bites with dipping gravy, others . . .
You guys. I have found the cutest things on Brickyard Buffalo. Bowties for my little man, pillows, and most recently, recipe cards. I saw these cards, and it was an immediate #swoon moment. I had to have them, and I knew you had to have them too. I ordered some for myself (and maybe a lucky pal or two that may be a recipient one day), and emailed Hillary at The Painted Arrow to see if she thought you needed them too. She said she . . .
