You guys – we survived Expo West again this year. Each year we look forward to meeting with new companies and ones we have loved for years. Our feet are left sore but our cups are filled. Today Des and I (Kadee) want to share some of our favorite finds from the Expo.
Before we jump in, I have to share the cutest backpacks that we wore inside of the Anaheim convention center. With samples and business cards galore we needed good shoes and backpacks. I’m kind of loving that fashion backpacks are back in style. These ones from Janice Design were perfect. We received so many compliments on them and they held all of our materials perfectly. If you’re looking for a fashion backpack this summer I would highly recommend Janice Design.
It is always fun to discover products that you love. And this year at the expo was no exception. If you get a chance we hope you’ll check out some of the amazing companies we were able to meet.
You may remember our Insta stories while we were at the expo. We did a little live tasting of these cold pressed juices. You guys – they are seriously amazing. They aren’t thick and yucky like you would expect. They have a fresh, clean taste – with lots of good-for-you ingredients. My fav was the Green Fusion.
Where to Buy? Telula can be found in the juice aisle at Whole Foods, Walmart, Publix, and Kroger. Or you can check for a store near you on their website.
We were able to meet Prana at a mixer the evening before Expo began. We loved their vision and philosophy for healthy organic foods. They are a Canadian company, but are expanding into the US. We love their line of proactive chia seeds with probitotics, and their fair trade chocolate bark.
Where to buy? You can purchase Prana products from the Prana Website.
I’ve been familiar with the J.R. Watkins soaps, but I never knew they had a gourmet food line! They have extracts and spices and mixes and oils. I really can’t wait to create something using their beautiful products.
Where to buy? J.R. Watkins can be found at a variety of retailers across the US like Walmart, Whole Foods, Rite Aid, Target, and Kroger. Check out the complete list here.
I’m sure that not many are strangers to Boom Chicka Pop. My husband and I buy the Costco sized bags regularly. We had the treat of meeting Angie herself and hearing her story of how she created the company. It was really inspiring and made me love the brand even more than I already did. And their new flavors – amazing! I’m partial to the milk chocolaty peanut butter.
Where to buy? You can find Book Chicka Pop at stores like Walmart, Costco, Target, Safeway, Riteaid, and Kroger. Check out the store finder here.
If only this bag were full. That would be my dream.
We loved learning about Dr. Bronner’s all in one pure Castile soap. Did you know that body wash is actually detergent and not soap? I was dumbfounded. I love that Dr. Bronner’s has taken cleaning back to the basics. Their soap can be used on your face, your body, your hair… and your food, dishes, and pets! And the scents – they all smelled amazing.
Where to buy? Check for Dr. Bronners at Target, Kroger, or Rite Aid. You can locate the nearest retailer here.
For those of you who have kids – you’re going to love this product. It is an ointment similar to a Neosporin, but without the antibiotics or chemicals. It is proven to kill 5 times more bacteria that your standard ointment and you won’t have to worry about developing antibiotic resistance while using it.
Where to find? Available on amazon, and other select stores will be adding this to their shelves in 2017. Check out their website for details.
I don’t know about you – but my kids LOVE chicken nuggets. These guys have done it right by creating chicken that is hormone and antibiotic free, not to mention organic. We really enjoyed taste testing a few of their delicious products.
Where to buy? You can get Hip Chick products at Safeway, Kroger, and Whole Foods. For more info check their store locator.
We’ve been long-time fans of the made in nature mangoes. They aren’t covered in sugar like other dried mangos, and they are just as sweet and delicious. One new product to us this year was their figgy pops. I’m seriously hooked. I found the mango berry flavor at my Costco and I can’t get enough. They are the perfect pick-me-up in the afternoons.
Where to buy? Costco sells a few of their products in bulk size! I’ve also seen most of the products at Target. Check by the nuts and dried fruits. For other retailers check our their store locator.
My kids have been obsessed with the Quinn pretzels. I love that they are gluten-free and I love that they are farm-to-bag. I’ve been obsessed with their microwave popcorn. Rather than having fake gross butter on their popcorn, you add everything after it has been popped. Amazing.
Where to buy? You can pick up Quinn at stores like Safeway, Target, and Whole Foods. Find the closest retailer here.
Des has been a long time fan of this brand. We love their line of scrubbers and sponges. I’m a sucker for beauty products – so I was in heaven when we stopped by this booth.
Where to buy? You can find these at ULTA and the link above!
I was first introduced to Tillamook by a friend who delivered a half gallon of their white chocolate raspberry yum to my doorstep while I was miserable and pregnant. At the expo we got to try their new yogurt flavors and learn about their new shredded cheese. I’m obsessed guys.
Where to buy? Most grocery store. Find the nearest one to you here.
All of us at Oh So are friends first and then blogging partners second. So I really enjoy working with some of my favorite people. It was really a treat to spend a few days hitting the ground running with Des. We all used to live within a few miles of each other, and now we all live in different states. Any chance we have to reunite is so fun and rewarding.
And of course we got some free time in the evenings to relax. Des and I saw a movie…by ourselves. The movie was no good. No good at all. As you can see by the huge crowd waiting to get into the theatre.
Until next year Expo!
