The struggle to eat healthy while on the go is realllll guys. Especially when you trying to feed your whole family- whom all have different likes and dislikes-while racing from one activity to the next. Recently we were going to a theme park for the afternoon. I had some leftover sliced carrots and cucumbers so I threw those in the bag too. I whipped up some homemade creamy cilantro jalapeño dip and tossed that in a plastic air-tight container and into the backpack. We didn’t bring any other snacks but my kids didn’t care! They LOVED it. The cool cucumber and crunchy carrots were so refreshing on hot exhausting days. Having the dip to spice up the flavor made a huge difference too. Seeing my kids go at it on these veggies really made me vow to prep veggies and dip more often and to BRING them. I know, that having a homemade cool and cream dip also encouraged their eating these veggies. Ever since this day at the park veggies and dip (sometimes I make a ranch or hummus too) have been our go-to.
This creamy cilantro jalapeño dip is not just for carrots and cucs. We love dipping crunchy, light and healthy Harvest Snaps in too. Harvest Snaps are made from real, all-natural peas. They’re high in fiber and protein, and have way less sodium and fat than so many other snacks out there. We really love all their flavors and mixing them with each other. Currently were on a tomato basil, caesar, and onion thyme kick. The next time your asked to bring a veggie tray and dip- this is what you need to do!
Because my dip is more of a mexi-style ranch dip, I made my veggie tray mexi-style instead of the traditional. It’s really great to mix things up once in a while and so easy!
- Pick 3-5 different seasoned Harvest Snaps
- 3-5 of your Favorite Veggies. (Try cutting up jicama- sweet and crunchy!)

How to Make It:
Making this creamy cilantro jalapeño dip is so easy and takes minutes. Throw all ingredients into blender and blend.
Here are a couple of tips!
- Jalapeños can be a pretty mild pepper. Remember the bigger the jalapeño the less spicy it is.
- For spicier dip, leave the seeds in, for less spicy cut the seeds and ribs out of the the jalapeños.
I’ve made this dip so many times and brought it so many get togethers. It’s always well loved and devoured. We get so many compliments on it! Whether you need a dip for a party or just for an afternoon snack, guys, this is it! Fast, easy and satisfying.
- 1/2 cup Mayo
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1/2 TBS Ranch Dip packet
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
- 3 jalapeños
- In a blender combine all ingredients and blend till smooth.
- Serve with veggies, or Harvest Snaps
